Riding high on the successful launch of its flagship models, Insignia Grand Sport and the Insignia Sports Tourer at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Opel is reportedly set to introduce its latest variant, dubbed as the Insignia Country Tourer, this year.
The German automobile manufacturer will launch the 250 hp 2.0-liter turbocharged wagon with engine and mechanicals similar to its previous models. Insignia Country Tourer is specifically designed to handle rock trails.
Sources said the most basic visual deviation between the Country and Sports Tourer models will be a plastic armor and high ground clearance. As per the physical attributes, the Sports Tourer is 20-mm smaller than the first Insignia Country Tourer.
The new Opel Insignia Country Tourer, which was unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, is extensively lighter than the active rendition because of its improvised design. The all-wheel-drive framework has torque vectoring, and there are another five-interface raise suspension and 20mm of extra ground clearance.
This exclusive innovation by Opel is likely to be a hit among the people as it provides a boundless decision of outside paint hues to look over for the proprietors.
Talking about its exclusive features, the Opel Insignia Country Tourer, 2018, offers a unique walker security framework, versatile IntelliLux LED network headlights, lane change alert with side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert and rear park Assist, under its hood.
