2019 Apple iPhone Is Predicted To Feature Triple Lens Rear Camera

While Apple seems to be working on the foldable iPhone, touch-less gesture controls, and other innovative features. A new report suggests a new feature for the upcoming iPhone in 2019. The rumors rolled out today claim that Apple is looking to launch to triple-lens camera setup probably the next year. Few rumors suggest that this will be an upgraded version of the iPhone X that presently hold the dual rear camera. Though the type of zoom technology that is likely to be implemented is unspecified. But, the device is expected to feature 12MP sensors and 5x zoom.


The Cupertino company already have this 5x digital zoom in the iPhone 8 that features a single rear camera. Recently, it is speculated around that Apple is releasing the red variant of this iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Apple introduced the concept of the dual rear camera with the iPhone 7 Plus. Now it is planning to launch the smartphone with triple lens rear camera.

Huawei P20 Pro Is The First SmartPhone To Feature Triple Rear Camera

The Chinese manufacturer Huawei was the first company to introduce triple camera system into the market with Huawei P20 Pro. It features primary 40MP sensor, 20MP monochrome sensor and 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 10x digital zoom, and 5x hybrid zoom. There are chances that the next generation iPhone X will have the same features. The triple camera will prove to be more advantageous especially with the low-light performance. Few camera tests proved the Huawei P20 Pro camera to be more powerful and efficient than the iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9 camera.


All in all, we could probably see the first iPhone with triple camera sometime in the coming years. Along with the advanced camera setup, the tech giant may also prefer to use an upgraded processor with increased memory. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI securities analyst doesn’t expect much changes than from the current iPhone X apart from the camera setup. As nothing is official from Apple, we need to stretch out longer to know the complete details of the upcoming iPhones.
