Apple accidentally leaks iPhone 8 all-screen design and infrared ‘Face ID’

As the time is ticking and slowly we are moving towards September, we are getting to see new leaks and rumors of the highly anticipated iPhone 8. Along with bezel free design, we may get to see some new features as well. An icon within the code for the new HomePod speaker firmware has been found by iOS app developers Steve Troughton-Smith and Guilherme Rambo.




The display will sport an edge to edge 5.8 inch AMOLED screen with no top bezel and home button. Apple iPhone 8 is expected to be little smaller in size than iPhone 7 Plus.

The exclusive leak from the early HomePod software confirms that iPhone 8 will certainly include 3D facing-scanning technology. The 3D face unlocks will assist you to lock and unlock your iPhone and let you use Apple Pay.

Developer Troughton-Smith says he came across code indicates an infrared face unlock, and it belongs to something new called 'BiometricKit.'
