Apple To Ditch Controversial Notch Design In The 2019 iPhone Models

The Apple iPhone X has got huge attention with its impressive features and notch design. It features the bright OLED panel, a controversial notch that houses the 3D facial recognition and TrueDepth camera. After its success, now new Apple iPhone rumors are emerging everyday especially about the iPhone X successor. Yes, now the new iPhone that is for due in 2019 is leaked. According to the reports, Apple is in plans to redesign the display especially the notch on the top. It can either remove it or reduce the size of a notch.

As per the Korean Website, ETNews, “Apple decided to get rid of notch design starting from 2019 models and is having discussions with relevant companies. It seems that Apple is planning to implement full-screen that is more complete in its new iPhones.”

Many of the Android smartphones like OnePlus 6, Huawei P20 lite, Asus Zenfone 5 and more are trying to implement the full-screen design with Notch. But it seems like the tech giant Apple doesn’t want this notch in its future iPhone models. Apple’s plan to ditch the notch is to improvise the visibility of iPhone X. Furthermore, there are even hints rolling over about the redesign of iPhone X by including new screen but without notch. It is likely to implement OLED technology on the new screen.

110446As for now, there are no details about the technical specification of new Apple model. But the alleged iPhone X Plus Dubai may have a display screen of around 6.5-inches. But now the question is how will Apple integrate the Face ID without a notch design. Probably, Apple may prefer including holes on the OLED panel to integrate the necessary components. There is even a possibility to include the sensor on the top which may cause a slightly larger edge than the present iPhone X.

Rumors even suggest the upcoming iPhone have a TrueDepth camera system into the rear camera. This change would make Apple to fully integrate into augmented reality. One of the tech giant contender Samsung has already filed a patent for the OLED display with holes. However, if rumors are to be believed, then we expect the future iPhone models to have zero bezels on the OLED screen.
