Ming-Chi Kuo is one of the most trusted security analysts who predicted that Apple iPhones in 2018 will come with a dual SIM slot. Android smartphones already have this feature for a long time. However, it is a great news for the Apple iPhone users.
As reported by MacRumors, Ming-Chi Kuo that the Apple iPhone may also work on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X20 modems and Intel’s XMM 7560. Ming-Chi Kuo also mentioned that Intel may supply almost 80% chips to the iPhones.
And both the processors will comprise of a higher baseband from 2x2 MIMO technology to 4X4 technology, which will boost the transmission of LTE or wireless connectivity.
The dual SIM support is also expected to support dual standby as well which enable the user to use both the SIM card simultaneously. According to the security analyst’s prediction, the iPhone will also back the LTE connection for the dual sim.
And the latest Face ID technology is said to feature in all the upcoming iPhones in 2018.
