Almost many major smartphone manufacturers skipped out Mobile World Congress. Taking this as an advantage, Samsung unveiled two high-end smartphones at MWC 2018- Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. While these are most shining flagships in the present market, Huawei is coming up with a competitive flagship- Huawei P20. Rather than introducing the flagship at MWC event, Huawei scheduled a separate press event on March 27th to introduce Huawei P20. We have learned plenty of details about the upcoming flagship. So, can these features can make it compete with the popular and trending Samsung Galaxy S9?
Fresh renders suggest that the Huawei device has few unique pitches that makes it a popular choice over Galaxy S9. In the event, Huawei is even planning to present three smartphones in Huawei P20 series- Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Plus and Huawei P20 Pro in UAE. According to the early rumours, the standard variant Huawei P20 is likely to ship in with a notch like iPhone X. All the P20 series handsets may carry similar features as in the top Android smartphones of 2018 like iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9 in Dubai. It is expected to have an all-screen display with a notch, at least two lens rear camera, top-notch specifications and more.
Camera Package Can Steal the Crown
Every year Huawei is working on to improvise their smartphones in every sector with a special attention to the camera. Huawei in partnership with Leica is offering three rear photosensors in the Huawei P20. Two sensors will have an aperture of f/1.6. The Huawei P20 Pro may have an extra sensor may have an aperture of f/2.4. It may further have an added feature of zoom X3. Presence of triple sensors can definitely show an impact on camera performance. It can capture the images with twice as much light as in its predecessors. The camera is likely to get a gimmick of artificial intelligence thus making it more attractive.
As for the technical features, Huawei is nowhere less than the Samsung lineup. The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro may pack in latest Kirin 970 processor with AI accompanied by a 6GB RAM. It may be fuelled by 4000mAh battery and may receive an IP68 rating. Moreover, the Huawei P20 price will be more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy S9 price. Overall, it is not that much easy for Huawei to grab the crown from Samsung considering its brand in the market. There is still a lot of chance for the Huawei as it is trying to overcome many issues. At the same time adding in many attractive features that make it eligible to compete with the South Korean giant. You can even check out how the Samsung Galaxy S9 in Dubai competes with Honor View 10.
