Nokia 6 Reportedly Receiving Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update

Nokia 6, HMD Global's first smartphone tagged under the brand Nokia, is reportedly getting Android 7.1.1 Nougat through over-the-air (OTA) update. HMD Global had earlier asserted that it would maintain regular updates for its Android handsets. Standing by its words, the company has initiated the first update for its Nokia 6, which earlier run Android 7.0. Along with the Android update, the handset will also receive a couple of new features with security patches. Sources revealed the current Android 7.1.1 Nougat update is available only in China. Samsung Beats Apple as the World Leader in Smartphone Sales

Though Apple had bested Samsung in taking the top spot in the market share in the last quarter, the South Korean mobile manufacturer has returned to rein the smartphone industry all over again.
