Facebook has added another feather to its cap as it has reached two billion of monthly users, which means more than 25 percent of the world’s population uses Facebook each month.
Other Facebook app, which is the Fb Messenger is also performing well. It has over 1.2 billion monthly users quite similar to WhatsApp which is also owned by Facebook. Instagram has almost 700 million monthly users and Twitter has 328 million.
Zuckerberg’s brainchild has seen tremendous growth in over the past few years, especially in the developing countries, since its launch in 2004. Facebook is banned in China where there are 700 million Internet users. So if the ban is removed then the social site can hit approximately 3 million users. Also, there are some remote places where the people are devoid of infrastructure and technology. So the path still seems to be quite difficult and challenging for Facebook.
