The Pixel 2 XL is the senior one between the two and will feature the curved QHD screen, while the younger one will sport an FHD screen. The device will be powered by a 2700mAh battery.
According to sources, if you purchase either of the two devices, Google will let you store unlimited files and photos in the cloud storage till 2023.
Google Pixel 2 XL
The Pixel 2 XL will be a ‘beast’. The smartphone is packed with terrific specs.
The Pixel 2 XL will sport a curved QHD screen and will be available in two storage variants- 64GB and 128GB. It will be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 835 chipset.
A few days ago, Google had bought the R&D team of HTC which worked on Pixel handsets. It is expected that the Pixel 2 XL will feature an Active Edge feature on the left side of the smartphone which will enable you to squeeze the phone to operate some of the functions.
According to rumors, the Pixel 2 XL will have slender bezels, the screen-to-body ratio will be between 80 and 85%. And just like Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL will not have the feature of 3.5mm headphone jack instead have a dual speaker.
The handset is IP67 certified and will be free from scratches and shocks as it is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Pixel 2 XL will get its energy from a 3,520 mAh battery which is quite large than many flagship smartphones released in the current year.
Rumor mills are rife that the Pixel 2 XL will be as grand as its predecessor. The Pixel 2 XL is likely to come with rear dual Pixel cameras with OIS. The cameras will also include the feature of Wide Color Gamut and Google Imaging Chip.
