An exclusive new feature has been added in your Android handsets. You can now ask your Google Assistant to identify any song which is being played near you.
According to a report, you just need to ask Google Assistant “What song is this?” or “Which song is playing?” instantly Google Assistant will tell you the details of the song like the singer, name of the song and lyrics.
The report also said that only if it is a popular song it will give you all the details of the song within a minute. All those people who have an access to Assistant can use this feature.
This feature has been created by Shazam, a popular app which can easily “identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows, based on a short sample played and using the microphone on the device.” In 2014 Apple has collaborated with Shazam to develop the same kind of feature for Siri, the virtual assistant.
The latest feature is already available in Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The Assistant will also have the access to YouTube, Play Music and Spotify playing links of the tracks with the link which is already being entered to search the song on Google.
