HMD Global isn’t stopping with the MWC 2018 event. There is more in store for all the Nokia fans out there. Nokia recently launched few flagship smartphones like Nokia 8 Sirocco, feature phone Nokia 8110 4G, high-end smartphone Nokia 7 Plus and more. Now, the Finnish company seems to be working on two more high-tier smartphones that may release later this year.
HMD Global is likely to announce Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 Pro. The Nokia 9 is ought to be the best-featured phone till date. It is likely to carry larger 5.7-inches display while the Nokia 8 Pro may boast 5.5-inches screen. The most anticipated Penta-lens setup may make its debut with the alleged Nokia 9. Rumors further claim that it will be the first smartphone featuring in-display fingerprint sensor with a glass finish at the front and rear end. As with all other recent smartphones, it could sport 18:9 display.
Nokia 9 may be powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC with a difference in its memory offerings. Unlike Nokia 8 Sirocco that runs on the Snapdragon 835 processor, the Nokia 8 Pro may feature the latest processor. This could be the only difference between Nokia 8 Sirocco and the rumored Nokia 8 Pro. As for the Penta-lens camera, HMD Global may not include the setup into Nokia 8 Pro.
While talking about the Nokia 9 price, it may carry higher price tag than Nokia 8 Sirocco. Furthermore, the rumored handset can have the price range similar to Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. Nokia 8 Pro may be available at a cheaper price and will be a better alternative for Nokia 8 Sirocco. Irrespective of the price tag, It is definitely good to hear that HMD Global is trying to address all those issues in its upcoming handsets. Apart from the latest processor, there is more information yet to come at the later stage. Until then we prefer taking these renders with a pinch of salt.
