There are several impressive phones that were introduced in 2017 from different smartphone manufacturers. HTC is among those that launched an awesome phone HTC U11 in 2017. With the huge success of U11, the Taiwan company is now trying to continue the winning streak with it's rumored flagship- HTC U12.
There is every chance that the HTC would implement huge improvement with the HTC U12. Before getting to know when this flagship will launch, let us have a quick look at the rumored specs and features that it is likely to include.
According to few sources, the HTC U12 may boast a massive edge-to-edge display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Normally the bezel-less design would require replacement of the fingerprint sensor. So, HTC may either move the fingerprint sensor to the rear end or opt for an under screen fingerprint technology. It may further carry dual rear camera setup. The HTC U12 may also feature 5G capability with downloading speeds of 1GB per second.
Rumors, Specs, and Features
The HTC U12 might ship in with the latest processor, Snapdragon 845 which offers great performance, higher data speeds and enhancements in the camera feature. Obviously, it may include higher storage variant than its previous flagship. So, it can have a 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. HTC may further upgrade the OS to Android 8.0 Oreo. Irrespective of the software version, it will definitely have an HTC’ Sense UI layered on the top.
Release Date and Price
Previously, it was rumored that HTC U12 might show off at MWC event. But it looks like we need to stretch a little longer until May 2018. The HTC U10 and HTC U11 were launched in May and by June they were in the stores. So, the Taiwan company will also look for the HTC U12 launch somewhere in Mid- 2018. Along with HTC U12, it may even launch the plus variant HTC U12 Plus in Dubai.
