Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, a business tycoon, entrepreneur, philanthropist, investor, and programmer, who has gained immense success through his hard work and determination is a great example to all.
But do you know, there was a time when Gates searched for jobs as we do? He created his resume when he was just 18 years old. And just a few years ago Seattle’s Living Computer Museum had presented Bill Gates’ resume at an event.
Here, have a look at it-
You can clearly see that the resume was made in the year 1974 when Bill Gates was working with Paulen Allen at Honeywell. He was then a fresher at Harvard University and his weight was only 130 pounds.
In his resume Gates has mentioned about his objectives which say “System Analyst or System Programmer”. Under the education field, he has written “Currently enrolled for the first year at Harvard College. Courses taken include: Operating System Structure, Database Management, Compiler construction and Computer Graphics. Honors student and received A’s in all the above.”
Bill Gates mentioned his work experience also which is written as “PDP-10, PDP-8, PDP-11, CDC-6400, Burroughs B-5500, Nova 1200, MCS-8008. Language used include FORTRAN, COBOL, ALGOL, BASIC, LISP, JOSS, and machine languages for most of the above computers.”
Besides he has mentioned about the system he had built in collaboration with Paul Allen. It is mentioned in the CV that the system was developed for traffic engineers to monitor traffic flow.
