HMD Global is one of those companies that is all set to unveil new products. Alongside other flagships, it is likely to introduce Nokia 7 Plus. Just ahead of the launch, a new hands-on image was leaked online which gave us a clear idea of what it looks like. This is a mid-range smartphone featuring an all-screen design with a dual lens camera and may probably run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
According to the rendered image, the front panel of Nokia 7 Plus has a modern design with minimum bezels. On the top right end, there is a Nokia branding just beside the front camera. To make it more convenient, the fingerprint sensor is moved to the rear end. As for the rumored specs, the Nokia 7 Plus can include FHD plus display, dual camera setup, Snapdragon 660 processor, microSD support and more.
Well, it sounds something similar to Galaxy A8 phones. These A8 series smartphones are mid-rangers with an all-screen design and run on the older version of Android Nougat. Whereas, the Nokia 7 Plus will have an Android One platform. Furthermore, HMD Global promised to get the latest Android update very sooner.
With the Android One logo on the rear end, we expect the Nokia 7 Plus to launch with stock Android Nougat. So, it is likely that even the plus variant will join the list of flagships that are awaiting Android updates in the near future. On the rear, there is even a dual lens camera by Carl Zeiss technology along with the fingerprint sensor.
Though the alleged Nokia 7 Plus is not official, we expect the Finnish company to unveil the new flagship at MWC 2018. Evan Blass, the popular tipster posted a twitter post with the press photo of Nokia 7 plus. Along with this plus variant, Nokia may also launch Nokia 1 which is an entry-level smartphone with low-end specs. Since it is an entry-level device, there is a possibility for Nokia 1 to have Android Go Edition.
