Nokia 9 may cost AED 2000 in the UAE, to be released at the end of Q3 2017

HMD's upcoming flagship smartphone, dubbed as Nokia 9, has already created a buzz in the industry even before its release. A lot of rumors has been doing the rounds, giving us an insight about the superphone, including its release date and price in Dubai. It was earlier revealed that the device will be packed with some amazing features like an Iris scanner, Carl Zeiss cameras, and a QuadHD OLED display. The premium mobile phone is apprehended to be launched by the end of this Quarter and might be priced at 2000 AED in the UAE.


It is tipped that the Nokia 9 will come with a 5.5 inch QHD 1440p OLED display and be powered by a Snapdragon 835 platform with 6GB of RAM.

The much-awaited device is expected to deliver high-quality images with its 22MP dual lens Carl Zeiss rear camera and 12MP front facing camera. It will also have a massive 6GB RAM with 64/128 GB internal storage and run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Strong battery power, being a major identification of the iconic Nokia handsets, Nokia 9 will have a 3,800 mAh battery with QuickCharge 4 support.

Its different components will incorporate "OZO" sound improvements, which are likely to offer some VR highlights, other than a fingerprint sensor and IP68 clean and water resistance traits.

Nokia is also rumored to be additionally working on two other high-performance smartphones, named the Nokia 8 and Nokia 7, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset.

Launch Date and Price

Official sources reveal that Nokia 9 will be unveiled in between July to August.  It is expected to cost 2000 AED.
