In the Mobile World Congress, HMD Global introduced a slew of smartphones which include Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 3310 and Nokia 1. However, the most anticipated Nokia 9 was missing from the lineup. Now the Nokia 9 is again in news with few details and specs. Rumors suggest the device to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor similar to the Vivo Apex phone. If rumors are to be true, then Nokia would be joining Vivo to incorporate this technology into the smartphones.
According to the latest rumor from NokiaPowerUser(NPU), the Nokia 9 will also sport the controversial iPhone X-like notch. Despite the hatred for this notch design, it has become the most popular trend for this year. Of course, this is the best method to maximize the display screen size. Reports further claim, the Nokia handset to feature the latest Snapdragon 845 processor.
It may further have a 5.7-inches bezel-less display of 18:9 aspect ratio. Apart from these leaked specifications, the device is likely to make its appearance in September 2018. And it will give a tough competition to the most popular Samsung Galaxy S9. Previously, the Nokia 8 Sirocco which was unveiled at MWC 2018 was thought to be the Nokia 9. But the use of Snapdragon 835 SoC made it lag behind all the latest flagships. In September, HMD Global may launch Nokia 8 Pro along with Nokia 9 which offers more premium experience with the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset. There is even a possibility that the company may launch this Nokia 9 with a different name in next year.
The Finnish company is getting more and more confident with its new range of Android smartphones. In case you don’t want to spend too much on the top brands like Google or Samsung, then Nokia could strongly be your next choice of Android phone. You can even check out detailed information about the Nokia 7 Plus in Dubai and Nokia 6 (2018) in UAE.
