Nokia Edge to be Rolled Out by the End of This Year

Nokia fans are desperately waiting for the beast Nokia Edge. If rumors are to be believed then we can get the Nokia Edge by the end of this year. So Nokia lovers out there, a wait of few more months!


As the name suggests Nokia Edge will have an edge to edge display. You can see in the image that the screen is expanding on both the sides. The smartphone said to run on a pre-installed Android 7.0 Nougat but will be soon upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo.


According to sources the upcoming Nokia handset will be chipped by a mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and paired with a huge 6GB RAM. The smartphone offers an internal storage of 128GB which can be boosted to 256GB by an SD card.


The forthcoming device from HMD Global will sport a 5.7 Inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels secured by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Nokia Edge will hold a primary camera of 24MP Carl Zeiss lens with a LED flash and will feature a front-facing camera of 12MP.


Also, a USB Type-C and a Touch ID sensor will be a part of the smartphone. The device is said to be strengthened by a non-removable Li-Ion 3600mAh battery with the option of fast battery charging.


As of now, HMD Global didn’t announce the launch date of the highly anticipated Nokia Edge, but it is rumor mills are rife that the smartphone will be rolled out before the year ends and will be priced hefty.
