OnePlus is all set for the new Android flagship OnePlus 6. It’s been just a month since OnePlus 5T was into the market and rumours are in the air about the upcoming Android flagship. OnePlus 6 that may launch in March 2018 expected to sport the under-display fingerprint sensor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
The reports from Gizmochina source suggest these rumours. The Chinese company is been experimenting with the relocation of the fingerprint sensor for the two previous Android flagships. In OnePlus 5T, it was relocated to the rear end thus giving room for the bezel-less display screen. Due to the convenience of front display fingerprint sensor, now the Chinese manufacturer is considering the more advanced technology.
Both Qualcomm and Synaptics are working on this new under-display fingerprint sensor. Rumors suggest that even the other top smartphone manufacturers are planning to feature the same technology. Synaptics claims that around 70 million units of in-display fingerprint sensors will be available by 2018.
Apart from this, reports even suggest that OnePlus may feature few of the Apple iPhone X features in its next flagship. This may include the face ID and 3D camera feature.
OnePlus 5T was the first smartphone from OnePlus to feature 6.01 inches bezel-less display screen. So, it is quite interesting to find the next flagship with some incremental features.
Though there is no much information about the specifications of upcoming Android flagship, we can expect some fair upgradations to the latest OnePlus 5T.
However, we might have the view of this innovative technology in the popular CES 2018 show in LasVegas. After this event, we may get some information about the specs that the Chinese company is planning in the next flagship OnePlus 6.
