After the launch of iPhone X, the notch design has become quite popular. Despite the controversies about the notch design, many Chinese manufacturers are trying to implement the same in their own version. Recently, we have seen the Asus Zenfone 5 copying the notch design. Now, again the most anticipated handset from OnePlus joins this list- OnePlus 6.
OnePlus did not reveal anything about the upcoming flagship. But the recent leak reveals few details of the unannounced phone ahead of launch. According to the report, OnePlus next flagship shows the design changes from its predecessor. The image reveals an alleged device with a full-screen display featuring iPhone X like the notch on the top. Presumed to be the prototype of OnePlus 6, but the final design could be quite different. All the OnePlus models are based on its parent company -Oppo which is already working on Oppo R13 that houses the same notch on the top.
Furthermore, the rumored OnePlus 6 with model number P7819 is likely to carry glass back aiding wireless charging support. There is an elliptical fingerprint scanner on the rear end just below the dual camera setup. However, the notch in the OnePlus 6 is slightly smaller than iPhone X. It appears to house front camera, speakers, and a proximity sensor. Few sources suggest that the alleged OnePlus handset will have an Android 8.0 Oreo platform and the latest Snapdragon 845 processor. The processor may be coupled by a 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
If leaks are to be true, then the Chinese company is even working on the beta version of Android 8.1.0 Oreo. So, there is even a chance of OnePlus to run on this latest beta version. Considering the efficiency of Face Unlock in OnePlus 5T, the next flagship may also carry the same formula. Overall, OnePlus is trying to stay ahead of those expensive flagships with the latest and advanced features.
