OnePlus released an official teaser video about the upcoming flagship and confirms the name as OnePlus 6. The video says that the device will have “the speed that you need”. While the OnePlus 6 release date would be sometime in June, there are plenty of rumors rolling over about the handset.

Last week, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed the presence of notch for its upcoming flagship. And now the latest official tease video confirms the name. The duration of the teaser video is around 4 seconds in which company specifies the name as OnePlus 6 that packs in the speed that you need from the smartphone. From the previous rumors, we already know that the next OnePlus flagship will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Probably the advanced processor could be the reason for the speed. The successor of OnePlus 5 may have some enhanced features that can make all heads turn towards the alleged handset.
The display has a notch as in iPhone X which measures around 19.62 X 7.69 mm. The notch is smaller than the one found in Apple handset. OnePlus upcoming flagship appeared online with model number A6003 that boasts 6.28-inches full HD display of 2280 X 1080 pixel resolution. As for the internals, the processor is accompanied by a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. OnePlus 6 in Dubai also ship in another variant that features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It is likely to run on Android 8.1 Oreo layered by Oxygen OS 5.10.
On the camera front, the upcoming handset packs in the dual rear camera of 16MP and 20MP with 20MP selfie shooter. Recently, OnePlus 6 has also received a WI-FI certification from the WFA. The device will be fuelled by a 3450 mAh battery that may support dash charge technology. Considering all the rumors, there is no doubt that OnePlus is planning for a flagship that can turn out to be the most anticipated smartphone of 2018.
