It’s been almost two months when Google announced Oreo-based Android wear. Now the update is available for Android wear from December 7.
This announcement is made in Google Plus by Hoi L the moderator at Android Wear Developers community.
Though it is not a major update as Android 2.0 it will surely add some interesting tweaks to your Android wear. This includes touch lock, battery life enhancements, and notification control.
The screen lock option added with this update enables the user to lock the touch screen in wet conditions. There is no information on the exact time when the watch will receive the update. But as per the post, "timing is determined by each watch's manufacturer."
Google further added that the Android wear is available in several different languages including Belgium (Dutch), Nigeria (English), Paraguay (Spanish), Czech Republic (Czech), Honduras (Spanish), El Salvador (Spanish), and Portugal (Portuguese).
