iPhone is the most widely used smartphone is UAE. And this has been recently revealed by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). There are many big companies in the smartphone industry, but the people of UAE prefer iPhone the most.
It has also been found out that the iPhone 6 is more popular than iPhone 7. iPhone 6 holds a 3.1 percent of the market share and is used by most of the people than the iPhone 7 which holds 2.3 percent market share. This clearly indicates that the users are not interested to get the current model.

The Note 8 has been recently released by the South Korean conglomerate. It will start rolling out on September 15. TRA even stated that 34.5 per cent of all handsets registered on UAE mobile networks in the second quarter were manufactured by Samsung. However, no flagship device of Samsung could make it even to the popular eight handsets of the list.
Nokia smartphones were the second most popular with the market share of 22.9 per cent and dominate the budget feature phone segment. Apple was in the third position with a share of 15.5 per cent followed by Lenovo with 5.4 per cent, and Huawei with 3.2 per cent.
