Samsung is going out of track! Yes, it is rumored to skip a series of Galaxy and stepping directly to A8 instead of A5. The reason is not known. But the rumors suggest Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) will be out of the box with the name Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018).
This is made visible in the Bluetooth SIG regulatory filing for an A8 handset with model number SM-A530. With SM-A520 for A5 (2017), it is clearly understood that the upcoming series will be Galaxy A8.
The reports from different sources like Wi-Fi Alliance database and Federal communication commission also suggest the release of A8 and A8 Plus (2018).
We hope that the reason behind the change is just to complement those high-end smartphones S8 and S8 Plus to mid-range A8 and A8 Plus. Both the models are expected to feature Infinity Displays with the ongoing 18:9 aspect ratio.
They may hold 1080 x 2160 screen resolution and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy A8 (2018) may feature 5.5-inches screen and may have Exynos 7885 CPU.
The device may be paired with a 4GB of RAM and an expandable 32 GB storage. The upcoming midrange Samsung smartphones may also feature Bluetooth 5.0 standard connectivity.
