Samsung has been successful in surpassing its Galaxy Note 7 debacle with the recent release of its flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. After the record-breaking sale of the latest Samsung Galaxy S series, the global tech giant is buckled up for another round of show time with the release of its Galaxy Note 8 in the next quarter.
The highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is way ahead of its predecessor Galaxy Note 7 in terms of specifications. Moreover, Samsung has left no stone unturned in taking additional precautionary measures with their batteries after the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 battery explosion haul.
Talking about the specifications, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is likely to don a similar look of the Galaxy S8 with the Infinity display concept. While Galaxy S8 came with a 5.8 inches 2960 x 1440 pixels screen, Note 8 will have a 5.7 inches Super AMOLED display with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. It will be guarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and come with an S Pen stylus.
The handset will be chipped by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Samsung Exynos 8895 processor based on the location of order, and run Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be equipped with a massive 8GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. Its other variant will come with a 6G RAM and 64GB storage. Storage can be expandable up to 256 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was touted to be the first handset from the brand to come with a dual rear camera setup. However, as per the recent update, Samsung will launch its Galaxy C10 with a similar setup before Note 8. Still, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will don a dual rear camera setting of 12 MP dual-LED flash rear and 8MP front camera. It will have a 3.5mm audio jack and front-mounted fingerprint sensor underneath the display. The device will also have the Iris Scanner feature similar to the Galaxy S8 series.
On connectivity, Note 8 will have a USB Type-C 1.0 connector, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0. The handset will be powered by a huge 4,000 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery which will pass the eight-point safety check process to ensure that the battery is immune to any form of explosions or overheating.
