Samsung went a step ahead. The giant tech firm is going to feature an under display fingerprint sensor in its upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9. As per some sources, the South Korean multinational will take one more year to embed the Touch ID sensor under the display.
Every company tries different ways and methods to make their smartphones unique. The smartphone created a new design language with a thin top and bottom bezels, an under display finger print sensor was also a different kind of technology which was obvious for the company to opt for.
Firstly it was said that the Galaxy S8 or the Note 8 would have this feature which was postponed. We can expect the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 may include the exclusive feature.
The new feature was also expected to be in the Galaxy S 9, with Qualcomm having showcased the first working prototype of an under display fingerprint sensor in collaboration with Vivo. It is predicted that Samsung will continue the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for its Galaxy S9, expected to launch early next year.
As per a report, the iris scanner and dual camera system will be improved in the Galaxy S9 handset. It is also said that most smartphone makers are expected to adopt under display fingerprint sensing technology as early as next year.
