With just four days ahead of the global sale of Samsung Galaxy S8 UAE to begin, a fresh rumor is brewing about the next flagship phone of the Samsung Galaxy S series. Based on the leaked information, the South Korean conglomerate is collaborating with Qualcomm to develop Snapdragon 845 chipset for the future release of Samsung.
Samsung for the first time chipped Snapdragon 835 processor in its Galaxy S8 series. However, that was only made available for the US market. Globally, the premium handset is powered by Exynos 8895 processor. While Snapdragon 835 came with 10-nanometre manufacturing process, the upgraded processor is likely to have a 7nm process.
Samsung Galaxy S8 price varies worldwide. But, Samsung Galaxy S8 price in Dubai begins from 3289 AED.
It is also speculated that either Samsung or TSMC will work on the next version of Snapdragon. However, it is too early to talk about the next generation of Samsung Galaxy S8, which will most probably release in 2018. But if the Galaxy S9 is chipped with Snapdragon 845 processor, it would most likely be 10 times faster than the current processor and can deliver more efficiently.
The rumor was rooted after the Snapdragon 835 chipped handset exhausted an hour before the Exynos 8895 powered model. Following which, Samsung along with Qualcomm are apparently working on to augment Snapdragons for the Galaxy S lines.
Samsung Galaxy S8 price in UAE is 3289 AED.
