At CES 2018, Samsung Electronics introduced the new notebook referred as Notebook 7 Spin (2018). This retains some key features of first generation Notebook like 360-degree rotating touchscreen, Active Pen, and Fingerprint security. The Notebook 7 Spin (2018) is a 2-in-1 notebook that works on Windows 10 platform. Few speculations suggest it to make its way to the market in the first quarter of 2018.
YoungGyoo Choi, SVP of Samsung’s PC Enterprise Staff stated that "Our customers wanted a functional, intuitive device that includes a wide range of their favorite features, and that's what we've delivered with the Notebook 7 Spin (2018). This device meets the needs of today's digital lifestyle, combining work and play with a smart, seamless and personalized experience that connects users with their other devices"
The Samsung’s Notebook 7 Spin (2018) will be powered by an 8th Gen IntelCore i5 processor. The Intel processor is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD drive. It features a 13.3-inch Full HD display and 43Wh battery powers the internals of Notebook. The 360-degree touchscreen display can be positioned either in landscape mode or in a tablet mode.
There is even a VGA digital camera for video calling, backlit keyboard that offers 1.5mm keystroke, precision touchpad, USB Type-C port, and HDMI port. As for the security, the Notebook 7 Spin holds fingerprint sensor which is based on Windows Hello, and a privacy folder.
Recently, the South Korean giant has introduced a Samsung Notebook 9 Pen. This device features a battery-free S-pen and an all-metal aluminium chassis. The brand new Samsung’s Notebook 7 Spin (2018) is compatible with this Lively pen. However, this pen doesn't come with the Notebook, it has to be purchased individually.
