Good news for Sony fans! Guess what! Sony is planning to change its design and launch a new Bezel-less Sony Xperia XZ Premium 2 in 2018. Irrespective of the ongoing bezel-less trend, Sony is the only company that is still with the same old ‘Omni-Balance’ design. In order to survive in the smartphone industry, it has become mandatory to change with the latest trend and fashion.
According to Kenichiro Hibi, MD of Sony India “you can expect a completely new design from the devices”.
Few sources revealed the fact that the company is already working to launch a flagship of Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The rumors were in the air when there was an image found highlighting the specifications of the new model H8541. So, in 2018 we can see the Japanese company competing with other giant Smartphone companies.
The upcoming handset H8541 will be the first 2018 flagship with 5.7-inches 4K HDR screen and bezel-less display. The device may measure 149x74x7.5 mm which is thinner and smaller than the current premium model.
It may run on Android 8.0 Oreo and may hold 3420 mAh battery. The Xperia XZ Premium 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The new flagship may come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
It is good to know that the giant Japanese company is moving in the right direction by changing its design language. With the launch of bezel-less Sony Xperia XZ Premium 2, we hope that the same design continues in the near future.
