Sony has its own space in the Android Smartphone sector. It has offered a wide range of Xperia smartphones in Dubai that displays great features, unlike other smartphones. With its great success from Sony Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XZ1 in 2017, Sony is now ambitious about its new flagship smartphones. It seems that the Japanese company is looking to get a design update for the Xperia range in 2018.
Since it is just a start of 2018, we are listing out a few Xperia handsets that may appear in this year. So let’s have a glance at the Sony upcoming smartphones in UAE.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium
Rumors suggest Sony announcing its Sony Xperia XZ premium in MWC 2018. It is likely to join the bezel-less revolution and few leaks suggest to have 5.5-inches 4K display.
The handset may reckon the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC that is paired up with 4G of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The Xperia XZ2 Premium Dubai may house a decent 3420 mAh battery and might ship with Quick charging support.
As of now, there is very little information about the Sony Xperia XZ2 premium. More information is yet to come in the near future.
Sony Xperia XA2/XA2 Ultra
As Sony all set for a new lineup for 2018, leaks are obvious and are rolling out so fast. In one of the leaked pictures shows the Japanese company to launch new Sony Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra. Renders suggest that these models have passed the regulatory bodies.
According to the report from VentureBeat, Sony upcoming smartphones will show off its first look at either CES or MWC. Sony Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra would be the best mid-range smartphone choice. The handset Xperia XA2 may sport 5-inches display while XA2 Ultra may come in with 6-inches display.
With the Snapdragon 630 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, XA2/XA2 Ultra can render great performance. Both mid-rangers will run on Android Oreo. With the render images, it looks like the Japanese company is planning for 18:9 aspect ratio thus ensuring bezel-less display in 2018 smartphones.
Sony Xperia L2
In terms of design, Sony was always known for maintaining the same old design. Despite the skinny bezels trend, the Japanese company is sticking on to the same design since several years. If the leaks tend to be true, we can find some noticeable change in the upcoming smartphones.
The rendered video from CompareRaja and @Onleaks suggest some Sony Xperia L2 specs. The handset may have 5.5-inches HD display, 4GB of RAM, Snapdragon 630 chipset and probably be running on Android Nougat.
Another interesting thing we may find in the upcoming Sony smartphones is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Sony may ditch side-mounted fingerprint sensor and place it on the rear end.
Hopefully, we can get some more details and specs about these upcoming Sony smartphones in UAE at the 2018 MWC event. You can even check out our list of best Sony Xperia smartphones in Dubai.
