Finally, the CES 2018 is here! The most awaited tech show at LasVegas has officially made its way showcasing some new and innovative gadgets. This is the best place where the consumers show off their products that are yet to be released this year.


However, the high-profile tech companies like Google and Apple conduct their own events to unveil their products.   1. LG Rollable OLED TV

The leader in OLED manufacturing, LG, showcases its world’s first 65-inches 4K OLED rollable display. Although the concept was seen in the past, now the display is flexible enough to roll up like a newspaper.


So, how is this useful? Apart from easy storage and transportation, it offers many things else. Besides a full 65-inches screen, it offers a 21:9 aspect ratio and a notification panel that can display weather info. It can even act as a music player when you don’t need the screen to be displayed.

2. Samsung The Wall

Samsung took CES to unveil the giant 146 inches TV named as The Wall. The TV sports a micro-LED display that can emit its own light. It features a bezel-less design that South Korean company describes as a “Module-based”. Samsung further claims that this approach lets the user customize the TV Size according to their needs.


Though the detailed specs are not yet revealed, Samsung describes it as “the modular screen can be used to create a wall-sized display, or simply let consumers increase their traditional screen size to suit a new room in the home.” Whatever shape the Wall may take, but it is expected to be quite expensive and aims at high-dollar home theatre installations.

3. Buddy Robot

Now the robotic future is infirm and is slowly turning into reality. Buddy is one such personal robot from the French Firm Blue Frog Robotic. The face comes in with a screen displaying giant eyes. This rolling robot is tiny, and cute that performs everyday tasks and reminds you of the calendar events.


The firm specified its role to help out the elderly and holds in the ability to detect falls, unusual activity and reminds medication slots. It is expected to make its debut this year.

4. Acer Swift 7

The new Swift 7 which is just 8.98mm thin, is designed for mobility. The ultraportable design with a all-day battery life and a trusted LTE connection make it more attractive at CES 2018. This is useful for the professionals who want to get rid of those tedious wireless connection problems.


It is powered by Windows 10 and features an eSIM technology. The Intel 7 processor ensures incredible performance and a fingerprint reader makes your system more secure than ever.

5. Asus Zenbook 13

Asus unveiled its new version Zenbook 13 windows laptop at CES 2018. It offers an impressive battery life up to 15 hours. Weighing at 985gms it is super lightweight. The 13.3-inches display offers much modern look and sports minimum bezels with 80 percent ratio.


It features 8th gen Quad-core i5 and i7 processor accompanied by a 16GB of RAM. It even offers a wide range of connectivity options which includes two USB-A 3.1 ports, One USB-C port, HDMI port and a Micro SD card reader. As for now, Asus didn’t reveal any pricing details, but it can show off in the first half of 2018.

6. CX-1Robot Suitcase

Yes, you heard it right! Robot suitcases are popular these days. Considering its popularity, ForwardX unveiled the CX-1 self-driving suitcase that just got smarter. It is the best travel mate that everyone will look forward to. The CX-1 robot suitcase is like a robot on wheels and follows you around.


The device comes in with Omni wheels that can roll around in any direction. It features facial recognition, smart navigation, anti-theft systems as well as auto-follow capabilities. So, now with this smart suitcase, you need not worry about losing your luggage.

7. Acer 65-inches Gaming Monitor

Acer just unveiled a massive 65-inches 4K gaming monitor. This is designed especially for gaming purposes and features Nivida shield TV hardware. The monitor holds in several gaming specifications as per the user's request.


The G-Sync technology for a 4K display ensures smooth performance while gaming. Furthermore, Acer provides a remote control that allows you to take full advantage of games.  However, this can be an expensive option.

8. LG CLOi

Another latest innovation from LG is CLOi robot. The adorable CLOi robot comes in with white colour with a black circular face and blue eyes. It acts as the main hub for your smart home.


According to the LG’s marketing Chief David VanderWaal, CLOi is  "ultimate in simplicity when managing your smart home," However, it was not acting according to the plan. This was quite an embarrassment for LG, but this is common while dealing with such devices.

9. TeslaSuit VR

Ever thought of being shot in virtual reality? The TeslaSuit VR designed by Tesla Studios reports providing more realistic feel while playing with combat games. So, now players can have the feel of touch, blade, and bullets but without any pain. The suit is completely wireless, and it, in turn, enhances VR experience while gaming.


Dimitri Mikhalchuk, CEO of Tesla suit Project describes it as “We wanted the Tesla suit to erase the difference between the virtual and the real worlds. The gaming market, entertainment and enterprise in VR and AR are currently the natural applications of this technology. Also, as this is smart clothing, it will work well for day to day life and well-being, for example in sports training and fitness.”

10. Neutrogena Skin Scanner

Want to know about your skin condition from your iPhone? Neutrogena made it possible with its skin scanner that can reveal skin issues. The scanner takes a magnified image of your skin thus measuring moisture content. Skin 360 which is an AI-enabled app analyzes the data and rates accordingly.


In order to accomplish this task, the Neutrogena Skin Scanner uses 12 LED lights, moisture detector and a 30x magnifier. There includes an option “improve” that directs to the Neutrogena store from where you can pick products to fix skin problems.
