Well, 2018 has brought up some amazing smartphones throughout the year till now. It has been observed that every brand is in the rush to bring out the best features and amazing designs for their flagship smartphones. There is a lot of competition in the market where it is difficult to decide that which smartphone is the best choice for the customer. Both of the smartphones have surprisingly some noticeable features make them superior. The battle of the full-screen display is in full swing which has made the companies to deliver some exciting designs for the smartphone.

The two of the major designs innovations are observed this year with Oppo Find X and Vivo NEX.  Both of the smartphones have turned the heads as even the big names like Apple and Samsung are not even able to deliver such majors changes in the body shaping of smartphone till now. Interestingly both the companies are Chinese with the same parent organization. Here is the breakdown comparison of Vivo NEX and Oppo Find X to have the better understanding about the features and performance of both.

The look of the smartphones is so appealing and premium. As the metal smartphones are out and glass is in so both smartphones show great glass body with an aluminum frame around.

Vivo NEX is quite big in size with a larger display as well. The smartphone not only large in size but it is also sleek and slim than the Oppo Find X. The look of the smartphone is shiny and gives multicolor shades on different views. The smartphone has dual rear camera setup in the horizontal form.  The smartphone has the size of 162 x 77 x 8mm and it is heavier than Find X in weight which is 199g. It has a headphone jack at the top and on the bottom, it has a USB-C port and single speaker. There is also an additional key except for volume keys which are of Vivo's own smart voice assistant.

Oppo Find X has a great shimmery back of glass without any cut or interruption as there is no camera or no rear-mounted fingerprint scanner at the back. The smartphone is flourished with a premium glass finish. The back is finished with the curvy edges around the sides from the front as well from the back which gives it a good grip on the hold. The Find X has USB-C port, a single speaker and the SIM tray at the bottom but unfortunately, there is no headphone jack. The upper portion of Find X ejects when the camera icon is being touched. The upper body has an extra camera set up which is hidden and only reveals for the picture commands. The smartphone measures 156.7 x 74.2 x 9.6mm and weighs in at 186g.

Vivo NEX has the display of 6.59 inches screen infused with a full HD resolution AMOLED panel. The pixel density is of 388ppi.  The screen to body ratio of Vivo NEX is 91.24%. The overall body surface has no bezel on the top, left and right, whereas it has a little chin at the bottom.

Oppo Find X is here to beat the Vivo NEX in the display battle; it is one step above of it. The screen of Find X is smaller than Vivo NEX a bit as it is 6.4 inches with the OLED display. But the interesting thing here is the curvy screen. The smartphone has curvy edges like Samsung S9 which gives it extra bigger look. It has also full HD resolution with sharp pixels of 403ppi pixel density. The plus point here is the 93.8% screen to body ratio which in comparison with Vivo NEX is higher as it eliminates the chin bezel a little more.

The actual innovation and novelty are in the camera set up.  Both of the smartphones shows uniqueness and different style for their camera.

Vivo NEX has the selfie camera which pop-ups from the body when front camera is used. It has a little opening at the back from where only camera square of around 1 inch evaluates like a SIM tray. Whereas, the dual camera set up at the back is not in the hidden form. It is at the back in the vertical form. The smartphone primary camera has 12MP (f/1.8) and above of it a 5MP (f/2.4) secondary sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization) support. However, the front camera delivers 8MP (f/2.0).

On the other hand, Oppo Find X shows very exciting design in the camera set. There is no pop-up like Vivo NEX but the whole extra portion of the camera body is hidden in the inside of a smartphone. The 2 rear cameras and one front camera whole of the set are designed and fixed on top of the Find X in such a way that it slides out from the body when the camera icon is clicked. The process is faster than the Vivo NEX pop-up selfie camera. The camera delivers 16MP (f/2.0) primary and 20MP (f/2.2) secondary, with OIS support. The duo is set in such a way that the flashlight is in the center of both rear cameras. The front camera is of 25MP (f/2.0).

Both of the smartphones lack the physical fingerprint scanner but it doesn’t mean that there is no biometric verification lock in the handsets.

Vivo NEX has the in display fingerprint scanner which is slow but works fine. There is no face unlock system as the whole selfie camera is hidden in the body of the smartphone.

Whereas, the Oppo Find X has the O-face technology. It works when the power button of the smartphone is pressed, the selfie camera comes out of the body to scan the face with 3D technology and unlocks the smartphone. This process seems quite long but it actually works fine and faster than it could be imagined.

The specifications and processor of both the smartphones are quite similar. Find X and Vivo NEX both give the latest system and powerful performance.

Vivo NEX delivers the operating system of Android 8.1 (Oreo). The chipset is Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 with the CPU of Octa-core and GPU of Adreno 630. The RAM of the smartphone is 8GB. The internal storage has two options 128 GB and 256 GB. There is no external memory card slot.

The Vivo NEX has powerful and huge 4,000mAh battery which is one of the biggest in the run of top smartphones.
