Here is How WhatsApp New Tool For Group Chat Works?

WhatsApp is the popular instant messaging application that lets users communicate with each other from any part of the world. In the recent times, the Facebook-owned app has come up with different applications that enhance the overall experience.

This awesome app is now currently working on new tool “Restricted Groups” to enhance the user experience with group chats. It is under beta testing and will probably be available to users with the upcoming update. WABetaInfo identified this new WhatsApp feature for both iOS and Android.

WABetaInfo explaining about the new feature: 'When administrators disable the chat features, only they can interact each other in the group: this may happen when an administrator wants to get the attention of all participants, writing something important or to organize an event.'

Almost everyone had an experience with WhatsApp Group chat. One thing we might have noticed while in group chat is the inability to get the attention of your messages among many participants.  This is because of simultaneous group conversations by every member.

After successfully installing the update, only the admin has rights to decide which participant can modify the group name, icon or subject line. As of now, any of the group members can modify the icon. Apart from this only admin will have access to send messages, other members can just see and read them.

Restricted Groups feature allows the group admin to disable the group chat feature for 72 hours. This ensures that every group member will check your message without any confusion. Once the chat feature is disabled a notification appears specifying: '[Admin name] allowed only admins to send messages to this group.' If any other person wants to enter a message, then they need to contact admin to get the required rights.
