Xiaomi never fails to surprise us with its incredible devices. After successfully launching the Xiaomi Mi MIX last year, which instantly became a hit among the people for its screen-to-body ratio and powerful hardware, the Chinese conglomerate is ready to unveil its successor, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 this year. Though nothing much has been confirmed about the phablet yet, the rumored specifications of the gadget have hit the ground, giving us some idea of the device.
Based on the leaked information, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 won't have a home button, which means the screen-to-body ratio will be increased by 93 percent. Its predecessor had a 91.3 percent ratio arrangement.
The best part about this giant handset is, it is expected to come with a massive 8GB of RAM and will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. This will definitely make it worth the wait!
The phablet, which will run Android 7.1 Nougat, is likely to be launched in two other variants with 4GB/6GB RAM options and 128 GB storage, for both. The top-end, 8 GB RAM form, in the interim, is said to be outfitted with 256 GB of inward stockpiling.
The display of the handset is touted to come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen and 1440X2540 pixels resolution. Most likely, Xiaomi will imbibe the ceramic body design for the phablet, similar to the previous one. Rumors also suggest that Xiaomi Mi MAX 2 will have a powerful 19MP rear camera bundled with a 13MP front camera.
It is also apprehended that Xiaomi Mi MAX 2 will have a fingerprint sensor rooted under the display. Besides, the handset is likely to come with a dual-sim slot and a huge 4,500mAh battery backup.
However, it is too early to affirm anything about the handset. So we need to get a grip on the excitement until an official announcement is being made by the company.
