Xiaomi Redmi 5 Reveals: 4000mAh Battery, Fingerprint Scanner, and 32GB Storage

The Chinese conglomerate is increasingly becoming popular for its extravagant handsets at affordable prices. Just a few months back Xiaomi Redmi 4 which stormed the market incurred heavy profits and once again Xiaomi will be back with the sequel named as Xiaomi Redmi 5.


Recently the leaks of Xiaomi Redmi 5 have hit the internet that it will be wrapped in a polycarbonate body with an ARM processor with a speed of 2 GHz. Another interesting news is that the front camera may comprise of an LED flash with a 5 MP shooter. Whereas the rear camera may house a 13 MP camera with LED flash too.



All the info has been leaked on a Chinese website, TENNA, where much revelations have been done about Xiaomi Redmi 5.



The Chinese website also said that forthcoming Xiaomi Redmi 5 will have a model number of MAE136. The device will flaunt a 5 inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.


Redmi 5 is said to be powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core processor and will work on 3 GB RAM and will offer 32 GB internal storage capacity which can be further extended to 128GB using an SD card.


A gigantic 4000 mAh battery will support the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and will operate on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.



TENNA, the Chinese website also leaked informed that the Xiaomi Redmi 5 will be available four shades- Gold, Rose Gold, Matte Black, and Dark Grey.


The Xiaomi Redmi 5 will also feature other sensors and connectivity options like -- gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor, dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and also a micro USB port.


Xiaomi Redmi 5 in Dubai UAE will release mostly by the end of this year and will be priced at an economical range.
