Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 to Render 18:9 display With Dual Camera and Massive Battery

With the huge success of the Redmi Note 4 and Xiaomi Mi A1, the fans are now waiting for the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Alongside the Mi 7, the next budget smartphone from the Chinese company is Redmi Note 5 in Dubai. This has become the most anticipated smartphone from the Chinese brand. Recent rumours suggest that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 may finally bring the bezel-less display to the Redmi Note series.

The recent renders reveal the smartphone with 18:9 aspect ratio along with the vertically aligned dual rear cameras. Unlike its predecessor, it is likely to carry large screen of 5.99-inches with 2160 X 1080 resolution. The images show that the device has very thin bezels on the top and bottom of the display. Below the dual camera setup, there exists a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The dual camera features a 16MP coupled with a 5MP depth sensor for DSLR like bokeh effect. It also has an 8MP Selfie snapper.

The upcoming smartphone is expected to be available in two different variants namely MEE7S and MET7S. Both the variants sport different processor. The basic model may ship in with Snapdragon 630 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage while the higher variant may sport Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. It is reported to run on Android Nougat based MIUI 9 interface. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 may be fueled by a 4100 mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick charge 4.0.

It is likely to carry a price tag of around AED 870 and is supposed to arrive in three different attractive shades- Blue, Black, and Grey. We can probably have a look at these smartphones at MWC 2018 event later this month.
